Antibacterial Wet Wipes for Flu

Antibacterial Wipes For Sale

In the United States, the flu season usually lasts from October to May. During this period, millions of people issued antibacterial wet wipes and soap, hoping to avoid the typical flu symptoms. This is a good reason because research by the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Disease shows that the flu virus is responsible for more than 200,000 hospitalizations every year in the 90s; this is in addition to the average 36,000 deaths per year.

Many of these worst cases are the result of pre-existing conditions, such as diabetes or asthma. Individuals with this and other potential problems with their immune systems need to tread carefully during the flu season. Some believe that washing hands frequently with good antibacterial soap can protect it. But this is not true.

Antibacterial Soap

Antibacterial soap is not as effective as previously thought. One study, published in the September 2007 issue of the journal Clinical Infectious Disease, reported that antibacterial soaps were not very effective in fighting most types of bacteria. Many doctors also worry about cross-resistance.

Triclosan, a chemical in many soaps used to fight bacteria, can cause them to build immunity against other antibiotics such as amoxicillin. This unsettling trend has many medical professionals who recommend that they return to traditional water and wash their hands with soap.

Even so, although antibacterial soaps are effective, they will not harm the flu virus. At the microscopic level, it’s very different from bacteria. Those who believe that they protect themselves from the flu, are only wasting their time with antibacterial soap.

Antibacterial Wet Wipes

Wet wipes use a different process to kill germs. Instead of antibacterial agents, most wet wipes use alcohol to sterilize surfaces. Apart from washing hands with soap and plain water, these wipes will kill viruses like the flu. This is a more dangerous type, such as the H1N1 swine flu.

Bacteria will not be immune to this form of sanitation. As a result, antibacterial wipes do not hearten the growth of resilient super bacteria that cannot be killed with outdated antibacterial drugs.

This wipes also has the added benefit of removing dirt and dust. They can be used to clean tables, steering wheels or telephone handles for cleaning and cleaning.

The wipes in the Office

Wipes is a great addition to any business. Companies rely on their employees to come to work with extraordinary feelings. However, a number of viruses can take on important employees when they are most needed, increase health care costs, and put undue pressure on other employees. By maintaining these networks, business owners can ensure a productive sanitation office and employees.

While they are often seen as alternatives to antibacterial soaps, antibacterial wet wipes are clearly superior to the previous ones. Most importantly, they provide sanitation without the negative consequences of increasing bacterial resistance to general antibiotics. As part of the office, these wipes help to keep the workspace clean and free of germs, an important problem for employees and employers. For this reason, antibacterial wipes should be available in all offices.
